Teen Heart-throbs One Direction have announced that they will be releasing a new single for this year’s Comic Relief. The song is a cover of Blondie’s single, One Way Or Another and will be this year’s official Comic Relief song. That’s not all, however, the band have also revealed that the song will debut on this year’s Brit Awards next month. So the Directioners won’t have too long to wait to hear the boys rendition. You can support comic relief and pre-order the single on iTunes just now, the official release date will be 17 February and this is when the physical release will also be available. Louis from the band says, “Getting the chance to perform Blondie’s song will be incredible. We’re so excited! Red Nose Day is a great excuse to have a lot of fun and to raise money, please get involved.” As for Red Nose Day itself, well this year it is celebrating its 25th birthday and BBC One are planning a fundraising extravaganza for March 15th. A night of comedy is in store with the likes of Michael McIntyre, Davina McCall, Rob Brydon, Zoe Ball, John Bishop to name a few are planned to host this incredible event.
